I'd be curious to know what some of yalls favorite Christmas songs/albums are that you listen to during the holidays.

Also, what versions of Christmas songs do you consider definitive? Like for example, to me there's no better version of The Little Drummer Boy than the one sung by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. Also, to me Nat King Cole's version of The Christmas Song is the best. Winter Wonderland? It's got to be Johnny Mathis!

Oh and what Christmas songs do you hate? I'll put forth 3 that are hellacious earworms, Feliz Navidad is painfully repetitive! I cannot stand it! Also, I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas sucks! And finally, So This Is Christmas by John Lennon is dreadful!

I like Joan Jett's version of Little Drummer boy.

Montgomery Gentry version of Merry Christmas from the family.

Colbie Calliat Christmas in the sand.

The Classics that were mentioned in the OP.

I know it has it's fans as 80's nostalgia .... but "Do They Know It's Christmas" by the British pop stars from 1984 is the most patronizing song ever recorded. It's white saviorism on steroids.
