Wait and see if $1 holds before buying more. If it does, you’re probably safe to hold a 1.64 average. Will more than likely jump to at least 1.38-1.49 if 1.00 holds and you could get out with a little less pain. I don’t know anything about the company or any catalysts they may have coming up. I’m just going off the chart. If it goes under 1.00, wait until it gets closer to the 52 week low to load up.1.64$ but I’m thinking about buying a **** ton more to bring my average down I honestly should have sold last week on the 1.75$ spike
in general, you'll probably want more time. I bought some SAVE $25c for 8/21 on friday or Monday (cant remember) and sold when it spiked. might not need that much time, but I'd give yourself at least a few weeks (in general)So, on the dip I jumped in and bought 2 $20 calls on SAVE for $10 a piece. They expire tomorrow. Im going to try and walk away for a bit and hope I didnt do something dumb.
Thinking of getting into MRNA if it drops to $80, can only explode up once the third trial is over.
I def understand. Its stupidly doing stuff that many in here have told me not to do. A) chasing gains B) trying to recover losses. My hope is that I end up not burning myself too bad and can count it as a lesson learned. As a side note I definitely understand why most traders blow up their first account.in general, you'll probably want more time. You just have to accept that most will run without you in it. But if it makes you feel better, there have been some bag holding longs over there waiting a long time for that. It’s a big roulette wheel and everyone eventually gets their turn.Man, I know I'm learning and being right on certain stocks is encouraging, but it chaps my ass that I missed out on JILL today. 150% gainer on the PR. Oh well, what's the phrase Coach uses? "Worry about the ones you got and not the ones you don't."
Yea yesterday I was up about $6,000 on my latest position and now I’m only up like $2500So. I had one call I bought last night for too much i sold it took an L. I bought another at 65. If she can run to 18.50 I can make some back. Went from up 150 is to down 60
@VolAllen has been playing SAVE for months. Do your DD but trust him when he says you'll have another chance. My problem was I had calls that expired. If youre just playing the stock. I would let it rideshould have trusted my gut yesterday.
Yea I haven’t really ever gotten into the calls/puts game. I’ve only been trading for a couple years. I don’t think anyone in year 1 has any business playing like that, and year 2 I’ve found my strategy. I’ll eventually play both ways, but I’ve got the patience to play like this for now.@VolAllen has been playing SAVE for months. Do your DD but trust him when he says you'll have another chance.
