No Tim duncan for center on the list? He single handedly took wake forest to sweet 16 every year while there.

Their last years on campus, yes. Neither were that high for their careers. Chism's low percentage can be partially attributed to the fact that he took nearly 400 threes in his career to Horford's five.

The bottom line is that neither should be in this discussion based on their play in college. Horford is very underrated at the NBA level, but his numbers just don't warrant him being included in this discussion imo.

Horford shot 59% for his career (61% his sophomore and junior years). Chism shouldn't have shot 3's. He wasn't good at it, but he was good around the basket.

I know they were so balanced and all, but...no one from the repeat Gators?

We were too balanced for one player to stand out. That's what was so special about that B2B team. Offensively they had no weakness, and one of four guys could kill you on a given night.

Horford was the most talented of the bunch, but his numbers don't really put him in the all-time discussion.

Positional thing. If we don't care positions, I throw out some of the guys on that list, like Malone, Glass and Mel Turpin.

If we were picking the 5 best players regardless of position, they might all be forwards.

Bob Pettit was on every published all time team 20 years ago or so. He has Bernard King-like numbers for his three years at LSU in the early '50s. I'd add him to the list for completeness

I thin Pettit should be close to the top. I also think Houston should be considered.

I would include him in the list. He IS UK's all time leading scorer.

Who'd you drop? I thought he was the man with those wide shoulders and big rise, but his limitations keep him off this list for me.
