What would warrant that? We have beaten number 1 with a dismantled roster and didn't rush, I'm not sure what regular season event could top that???
Best UT basketball game I've ever witnessed with my own two eyes. Ill never forget Bone and Woolridge stepping up big and knocking down some huge 3's for us that game. I was in the student section and in all fairness we tried to storm the court but the security guards weren't having it lol. Still, one of the best games in UT basketball history IMO.
I don't remember us rushing it when we finished 1st in the SEC under bruce, did we?
Edit: guess the poster above answered my question, I was there and didn't remember fans storming the court.
Edit to my edit: yes I do actually, because I remember the fine or warning coming down and Hamilton talking about it.
The OT game with Texas at home, when they had Kevin Durant was a unbelievable game to be at also.
Dont think we stormed the court after that 1 either.
The last game we stormed the court from my knowledge was when we beat Florida at home and it was Pearls first year I believe. I know CJ was still there and Bradshaw too. I believe it was the game Bradshaw made the crucial steal that lead to Lofton's layup that sealed the game.
My best friend says that's his favorite basketball game of all time and its hard to argue against it, but the Kansas game was just incredible because of the 4 suspended players and Bone was a dang walk on playing his first real game and he came up huge. Kansas game is still my favorite. Ill never forget that game as long as I live.

You're right. That probably would've been one. It's a tough call. We were a top flight program under Pearl, he was a giant slayer (don't look now, but Cuonzo has it in him too). But I think it'd be more appropriate to happen against an conference foe. Beating a #1 KY team?
I was a student at the Kansas game a few years ago. A couple kids tried to get a rush going, but they stepped one foot on the floor and got pushed back into the steps, got sucker punched, and cuffed by campus police. I know the exact cop that did it because he was a crossing guard near the library. After that little incident, the students have been afraid of rushing the floor anyway.
