Allegiant Airline (TN<->FL)

BTW I have done the Allegiant air flights before and they aren't bad. One thing to note is don't pick your seat. They charge you extra $ for it, and if you "remove" the seat from the online picker you can pick when you get to the airport. If you don't mind where you sit you'll save a lot of $.

I personally love allegiant air. I have become a fan of the smaller airports, i show up 30 mins before my flight leaves. In and out of check in and security in less than 5 mins. I used to travel a lot when i lived in atlanta and hartsfield is a nightmare. I would usually take Marta in and still have to arrive 2 hours ahead of my flight sometimes just to be safe.

Another thing i prefer about allegiant is they allow you to choose what you want to pay for. If you want a preferred seat, its 5$, if you want a checked bag you pay extra for it etc... I prefer to customize and choose what type of services and upgrades i pay for. When allegiant posts a flight for 29$, if you take all the needless frills away and bring your carry ons, you can get that leg for 40$ with taxes, and you can't beat that.

Also the planes are pretty nice, nothing fancy, but clean, used but once top of the line planes, still conditioned well. Allegiant air is a great alternative for families in Florida IMO.

Hey spacecoastvol, i am living in cape canaveral now, what part are you from?

Is their a shuttle flight to Nashville and back from Knoxville?
One that flies in and out a few times a day?

I would do that plus get a South West flight up to Nashville if there was one.
