Huggs wouldn't put up with Cousins more than 30 seconds. That's not a criticism of Cousins, he's just not the kind of guy Huggs can or will coach.

They'll be good, but have many of the same issues.

I dot know why they love Patterson the way they do. He's a disappearing cat.

That's why he's a great coach. He doesn't let someone ***** and cry the whole game and pamper his players.

During Huggs first year, I went to see them play St. John's at the Garden. After the game, I commented to one of his assistants that it was a shame they got there too late to get Patterson, who was having a good freshman year. He looked at me and "The guy we've signed for next year (Kevin Jones) is better and tougher."

I don't understand why the settled for so many? They have Cousins and Patterson with a guard like John Wall that can get to the basket.

If they do get Brandon Knight, how does he compare to John Wall?

He had a guy, Dontonio Wingfield, who was a lot like Cousins. He went pro after a year and Huggs said he'd never deal with that type of attitude again, regardless of how talented the player was.

Any respect I had for Cousins went away when he smacked a guy in the crotch and whined about a foul being called.

That's why I like him. I'm quite sure not too many people are going to be giving you much hell on here for being a Huggs fan.

That was one of the most satisfying games that Tennessee wasn't playing in that I've witnessed in a long, long time.
