I would have to say im not "overlooking" AF but come on now AF is an military academy but not greatest looking football team, we should beat AF by at least 2 td if not 3...but you are right one game at a time............GO VOLSSSSSSS GO VOLS GO VOLS

we should beat the brakes off of them, then again we should have beat the brakes off a lot of teams in the past. here's to hoping saturday was only the first in a long line of absolute whuppins

What's nice, is that we should be able to win the AF game without showing too much to Fla.

i was saying the same thing to some friends yesterday, we didn't show a lot against cal (because we didn't have to, how sweet is that?) and we shouldn't have to against AF, Florida may not know what to expect when we play.

I'd actually like to show some things... give them a try before throwing it at UF. IMO, if we execute, it doesn't matter if Florida has seen us do it before or not.

AF may be a military academy, but they are by far the best of the three.

Frankly it doesn't matter if we (The VolNation) and fans overlook Air Force or not. We all know Fulmer and the team won't.

As for me, I'm overlooking Air Force.

I want our starters out in the 4th quarter. Hopfully we will play well then. Our coaches need to keep the players focused.

What concerns me is Harrell AND McBride the power rushers they are, can they be disciplined and patient....and read the qb and contain? As far as showing the Gators too much, I used to be one of those types to hide a playbook from opponents. But heres the thing. An offense that executes a play well is hard to defend even if you know whats coming, so I say open it up, the more reps the better. Its more important that the offense knows what its doing and is comfortable with the plays...than it is to hide the option of it from the opponent, IMO.

Navy is much better than Air Force is and has been for a few years.

I want our starters on the sidelines in the 4th quarter with their pads off, laughing at the freshmen who are getting some game experience. Focus for 3 quarters and then put the scrubs in for mop-up duty. I will take it every game.

Whoa, I figured SEC fans would be a little more knowledgeable on your competition. Air Force has been a much better football team then Navy in the past couple decades. We compete with much better teams then Navy ever faces. The last three years they have gotten some fluke wins over us but it had been a very long time since they beat us before then. Air Force owns Navy!

Welcome to our board AFA! :wavey: I already stated that AF is by far the best Academy.

I really like Coach DeBerry and how his teams fight. Let's hope the game is good, and the guys stay safe. :vava:

I think this game will be decided by the 3rd Q, whether UT overlooks Air Force or not. They are a weak Div 1 team.

A visitor? Sweet!

Anywhere on the strip is good after the game... rockin' if we win. Hopefully you'll get the 4 star treatment here, most Cal fans I saw were pretty impressed with the hospitality... I hope you see the same courtesy!
