He's kind of right. He got suspended from the LSU game and the bowl. But, Saban often does that with redshirts to send a message. Since Kamara wasn't going to play, he simply had to stand and watch practice and couldn't be on the sideline for the game. He didn't travel to New Orleans.

Kamara got into a little legal trouble for driving without a license, but that was after he'd already transferred to JUCO.

I wouldn't read too much into any of that.
