1That Barnett is a little slow out of his stance when the ball is snapped? He's played good for a true freshman thru his first 2 games and I think he is gonna be a beast in the next few years, but it seems like he get started a split second too late. Has anybody else noticed this?

I haven't noticed it, but like somebody already said, he is a freshman that is probably a little hesitant at times because he doesn't want to commit stupid penalties. All I know is that Barnett and Hendrix both have the potential to be big time defensive ends, and when you throw McKenzie (and possible Tuttle) in at defensive tackle our d-line is going to be lights out with a little experience. The future is looking up Vol fans... have patience.
another coach heard from.....wow

No, you're not the only one. I was at the USU game and my son commented on how slow he was out of his stance. I started watching from that point and was actually very surprised at how much slower he was getting out of his stance than anyone else on either side of the line.
A freshman who will improve over time and as well as he's already playing, polishing up things like this will make him a true beast.
