Well personally I wouldn't use a prediction that was outdated by a few days when predicting a hurricane's path. But I live in Florida and evidently have access to predictions the rest of the world is not privy to

I would take out a Sharpie and extend a line into the state of Alabama, just so I could be perceived as having won an argument with the National Weather Service over their own forecasts. That makes perfect sense if you are a narcissist.

Not really an apples to apples comparison now is it, given that KC--and the Kansas City Chiefs--are a wee bit more famous than Bristol and the Bristol Motor Redneckway.

At absolute best he was uninformed as those tracks were over a week old by then. The WH should have just said that: "The map had not yet been updated to reflect the new forecast tracks. In the future we will make sure to use the most recent forecast mapping."

Had they done that it would have been over in a matter of hours, not lingering to this day as emblematic YET AGAIN of the inexplicable hesitation of this administration to simply TELL THE TRUTH about even the most mundane things.

Stupid and petty. Trump, or one of his acolytes, literally altered a NOAA map with a sharpie and presented it to a National Television audience. Instead of reporting factual news during a National Emergency, Trump decided to act like a child for the millionth time.
