Amateur Hour Continues

I disagree. Personally I wouldn't want to even be in the same room as Trump much less have to listen to his 3rd grade level nasal droning. The concept of the "Office of the Presidency" and all that high minded crapola got thrown out the window.

Us normal people might get 1 chance in our lifetime to meet the President so I wouldn’t care who he was. I couldn’t stand Obama but would have eagerly accepted an invitation to the WH, smiled and been grateful for the opportunity.

I have met one Pres and seen 2 in person. Also have a good college friend who was a Pres Speechwriter for Ford. Got a tour of White House, but didn't see Ford. I saw the Oval Office from a distance, and ate in the cafeteria there..

I would have been thrilled to meet any president during my lifetime, but not Trump. I'd take a hard pass on that one.

I was a small child. Probably around 7. Jimmy Carter was signing autographs at some event my mom took us to. When it was my turn to get something signed my moms says I said “President Regan may I have your autograph.” He playfully took my sheet of note book paper, balled it up, and tossed it aside while laughing. Then he signed another sheet of paper for me.

We went to Plains to hear Jimmy Carter teach Sunday school. My daughters were one and two and were kept in the nursery by Rosalynn Carter and another lady. When we went to pick them up, Mrs. Carter said my one year old had had a healthy poop that she had changed. They posed for pictures after the church service so we got a couple of pictures of the whole family with Mr. and Mrs. Carter. I just sent an 8 x 10 of the photo to the church and to the Carter Center to see if President Carter could sign it for me to frame and give to my daughter for her college graduation in May.

I would have loved to have sat and listen to Regan and had a conversation with him , Bill , Obama and W would be fun ( IMO ) to have a beer or three with ( no politics ) Bush Sr. Always seemed dry to me but would have loved to talk to him when he was older hoping he’d spill some good CIA stories . Lol

Always skip to the backwards tune of trashing your President when all is possible because you absolutely think it makes you look like a better person somehow but it doesn't......just makes you look smaller & dumber as you skip down the happy trails of loony land.

So... if we don't love our President, then we're "small, dumb and loony"? Sounds like you've bought into fascism hook, line and sinker.

Dissent is a cornerstone of a free Democracy. If you don't get that, I feel bad for you.

I get it. I'm not good at being fake. I probably would make the news for telling Trump to go F himself. Probably end up in jail somehow.

You could always take a swing at him , that would show him . Then we’d all get to share in your White House story and read about you . Lol

I need to work on my pettiness to reach that level.
Aren't you the one who prides himself on rebelling against authority? Talk about petty.
I can think of no better way to rebel against authority than refusing to meet a person that others think you should meet for the simple fact that he is currently holding a position of authority but you consider to be a horrendously despicable human.
