Devon was awesome. The only one who could have won for the guys just got voted off.

Yet Lazaro is still there.

She is hot, she is sweet, and she is a good ole small town country Tennessean.

Keep casting your votes for her please! My sister grew up with her, we're from the Oak Ridge area which is only like 10 minutes from Oliver Springs.

KEEP VOTING FOR OUR TENNESSEAN BELLE!!

Janelle's had my votes every week and will as long as she's in.

It's about time Tennessee produced an Idol. The Chattanooga area barely missed getting one 2 years ago when Lauren Alaina (from a town just across the Georgia state line from Chatt) made it all the way to the finale, but lost. Never thought I would get invested in another Idol hopeful after Lauren, but I'm all in for Janelle.

My wife is friends with Kree. I got to go with her. I think she's the best, anyways.

It does make it more interesting when you have a personal connection with a contestant. I would never watch Idol, otherwise.

Kimberly Locke, who finished third in season 2 is from my hometown of Gallatin, Tn. She should have won it that year.

She was the last person safe this week. Too close. She's going to have to kill it next week or she may be gone...but the judges' save is still in play, so if she is voted off, she could still get one more chance if she convinces all 4 judges that she deserves it.

Final four is gonna be all females. That's crazy. And they are all so good!

Haven't really watched any of this season until yesterday's show, but I'm not understanding why the Lazarro kid keeps making it through. I feel bad for him, given his stuttering issue, but he's not that great of a singer...

That's the flaw with the show. He is still there because the people who vote pity him. Nothing more. He should have been gone a long time ago.

As with every season of Idol, the true winner won't be known for a few years. Jennifer Hudson finished ninth, but has had more success than anybody from that season by far. Same with Chris Daughtry who finished fourth.

The judges reaction to Lazaro making top 3 this week was priceless.

Needless to say it'll get very interesting if Lazaro stays the next few weeks. This guy will have to learn the lyrics to more than two songs and he can barely handle memorizing the lyrics to one song as it is. We might be able to call this Improv Idol by the time it's over.

The fact that Lazaro made the top 3 and Amber didn't just shows how much of a joke Idol's voting system is.

The judges threw him under the bus rightfully so after both his performances tonight. Wouldn't surprise me though if he still ended up making it.

Haven't seen last night's yet. At least the judges have been smart enough to sit on their save this year.

Lazaro's finally gone. About time. And this is the first time Idol has ever had a top 5 consisting of 5 girls, which also guarantees the first female winner in 6 years (also, about time).

Amber in the bottom 2 tonight. I don't get it. She's the best singer on the show, plus she's smokin hot.

She's really not the best singer on the show. She isn't connecting with the audience for whatever reason.

Kree is my favorite. I think she makes it to final 2.

She obviously hasn't connected with America. She's not the best performer/entertainer, but I still think she has the best voice out of the group. Either her or Janelle will probably be the next to be voted out. Of course the judge's save is still in play.

Anybody else think they purposefully picked a weak male field this year?

There is still some debate as to whether or not the save is in play. The old rules dictate that the judges missed their chance.

I was saying this during Hollywood week.

I was checking the forums at the AI site, and they don't even seem to know if it's still in play. We'll find out next week, as I believe they'll use it if they still have it, regardless of who gets eliminated.
