Or wrong? Given our team just got boat raced, but the coordinators on both sides of the ball are without any energy whatsoever. Banks and Halzle seem to have no answers and little if any energy. I realize I may get blasted for this take, but coming on that field pregame shirtless was stupidity and the coaches, including Heupel, should have stopped that from happening. I’m venting admittedly but also believe there’s merit to these opinions.

Been watching Banks talk for 4 years and he has never said nothing. Go watch every time he talks, says same things every time. He said the other night..we came up a little short!! How stupid. Ohio State could have scored more, Day called off the dogs the last 3 drives.

You’re reaching

No issue with the players doing that as a unit, if that’s what they believed would make a statement about the cold.

Maybe they're not in the mood immediately after the loss? This is a really weak take
Interesting….. weak take, hmmm, maybe low energy coaches equate to low energy play on the field. And after reading several performance analyst comments regarding the shirtless warmup from a practical standpoint it had only downside effects.

In their defense, they just got absolutely schooled, dismantled and outright embarrassed in front of millions. Pretty sure they wish they could crawl under a rock somewhere. It's what they learn from this and make changes to not allow it to happen again if given the chance that matters going forward.

Many coaches of many teams over the years have done the shirtless thing.

They don't look very happy. We are a fickle bunch around here. Last year everyone couldn't wait to run Tim Banks off. Earlier this year.. "Can we Keep awesome Tim Banks".. Now its back to fire Tim Banks. Halze IMO was a in house hire that probably shouldn't have happened but it is what it is.

Banks has the numbers to show his improvements. OC, WR, O Line coaches can not say the same. Football 101 is winning the line of scrimmage. Both UGA and OSU beat us on the lines. Don’t let that Michigan game fool you. OSU has tons of NFL talent and very good OC and DC.

While I agree about Halze, you can not accept being mediocre at this level if you want Championships. We are mediocre at WR and OL start there.

Yeah well. They need to recruit better than 10th in the nation and 8th in the SEC. I'd start there. There was a pretty wide talent gap on display the other night. Better coaching could of kept it respectable but the Vols weren't beating that team even in Neyland.

Not disputing that however these coaches have criteria to recruit these players... Thats on them who they target and bring in. At the end of the day it falls squarely on the staff. Coaching, recruiting and performance. Of course players have responsibilities as well.

There seems to be some issues there for sure. Heupel needs to reevaluate everything about the program, probably needs to make some changes. The SEC is going to stay ultra competitive and when you sit on your hands you fall behind..
