Interesting….. weak take, hmmm, maybe low energy coaches equate to low energy play on the field. And after reading several performance analyst comments regarding the shirtless warmup from a practical standpoint it had only downside effects.
No one is high energy after a loss like that. It went like jitsu about every other press conference goes from the losing team. Your expectations simply don't match the reality

Been watching Banks talk for 4 years and he has never said nothing. Go watch every time he talks, says same things every time. He said the other night..we came up a little short!! How stupid. Ohio State could have scored more, Day called off the dogs the last 3 drives.
If this team “came up a little short” I for one would be happy. We aren’t in the vicinity of just coming up a little short. It goes well beyond that coach speak. What I’d like to know is why we gave them 10-15 yard cushions at the line. Why only rush 4?
Why did our defense look the same or worse than the Ga game with zero adjustments. What happened to the D unit that carried the team vs Florida and Bama? When Banks defense works, it’s good but when it doesn’t, it’s a fall off that’s hard to stomach.

With that metric I think you have to add CJH.

If that's the case, how did Michigan beat Ohio St, How did Ark beat TN,? How did Vandy beat Ala?
There are exceptions to the rule
Key injuries, penalties and turnovers.
Of course, there are upsets.
But generally talent wins out.

Banks contract was supposed to run out next month, I can’t remember if they gave him a new contact or extension though? Anyone remember off the top of their head?

Or wrong? Given our team just got boat raced, but the coordinators on both sides of the ball are without any energy whatsoever. Banks and Halzle seem to have no answers and little if any energy. I realize I may get blasted for this take, but coming on that field pregame shirtless was stupidity and the coaches, including Heupel, should have stopped that from happening. I’m venting admittedly but also believe there’s merit to these opinions.

Keep Banks, fire hazle

That was a painful game to watch. We lost because of two areas. OL could not block at all. Defensive backfield and line backers couldn't cover anyone. I don't think the talent discrepancies were large enough to explain why we were so bad in those areas. We were not competitive at all. It looked like we were using the "Football for Dummies" standard schemes. If we don't change coaches, at least get them some help. Our defense couldn't stop Georgia and they couldn't stop OSU because they didn't know how. If you don't have a coach that knows how then you don't have a prayer.

Banks has grown a lot this year as a DC, but we didn’t get to the QB against OSU or Georgia. Not sure why he had us sitting back with no blitzing at all against those two teams.

In their defense, they just got absolutely schooled, dismantled and outright embarrassed in front of millions. Pretty sure they wish they could crawl under a rock somewhere. It's what they learn from this and make changes to not allow it to happen again if given the chance that matters going forward.
Truth. This game is much like the 1998 Orange Bowl loss to Nebraska & the loss to Penn St. in the 1992 Fiesta Bowl. All 3 final scores were 17-42, also. We'll see if this team responds & improves next season like those two did.
