What are you figuring? UCONN, PITT and maybe Louisville and the rest of the ranked Big Easters are a level both them?
UCONN, Pitt, and Louisville are all considerably better. Syracuse, Villanova, Notre Dame, and West Virginia(if healthy) are all capable of finishing ahead of Georgetown and especially Marquette.

Well, Louisville got rid of the "maybe" I had about them earlier in the day.

I haven't quite figured out what's going to happen with Syracuse yet. I was in Syracuse on business Thur and Fri and most of their fans that I know are being cautious regarding optimism.

Onuatu keeps bringing it and they'll be fine.

Rick Jackson is the variable on that team. If he keeps improving, they are going to be a nightmare in March.

I would expect him to be up and down, but they can win even when he no shows.

Tennessee's defense (or lack of) gave an undermanned USCe team the opportunity to erase all but two of a 19 point lead. I don't see another sweet sixteen in this team's future.

8-8 in the conference with a loss to Memphis and the traditional first round SEC tourney loss puts us at 17-14 and in the NIT. Quite possible.

Tennessee should go no worse than 5-1 against the West. Simply playing .500 against the East would get them to 10-6.

Not really. The SEC is immensely awful.
Yes it is. I won't contest that.

BC got dumped by Virginia Tech today. Now 1-3 in the conference. I guess they figured beating UNC was good for the rest of the year.

Looks like Stanford is going to get Cal.

Arizona has to be the dumbest team in America. You would think they would have learned their lesson about committing ridiculous fouls in the loss to UAB earlier this year. They just lost because they fouled Daniel Hackett 40 feet from the basket in a tie game with 1.2 seconds left.

Wonder if they have any coaching issues?

I'm not sure how you coach a guy not to put both hands on a guy 40 feet from the basket with under two seconds to go in a tie game. It's amazing to see it happen again. Pennell looked like he was looking for a bridge to jump off.

Syracuse is my favorite team to watch outside of Tennessee. I love their toughness and athleticism... Flynn is awesome and puts his body on the line - their bigs are good too - and Harris is an electric player as well.

I have to root against them simply because Devendorf is such a jackass.

Unfortunately 11-5 or 12-4 will probably win the SEC. This means Tennessee must go 2-1 or 3-0 against Florida/Kentucky if everything else goes as planned.
