Depends on who you are. If you’re a tech guy making $250k Seattle and SF are nice. If you work at the coffee shop he goes to every morning your story is slightly different. Both are top 5 cost of living in the country and SF has the highest median home price in the country.

The situation in San Fran got noticably worse over the 2012-2016 time frame where the businesses and tourists were.

Portland was a city I didn’t frequent too often but was there every now and then. Another really cool city that has managed itself downward. The last time I was there in 2016 was noticeably different. I got hit up by panhandlers almost every block. I forgot what the policy was but they were encouraging the homeless to set up camp in the city. Outside Portland was still beautiful. My company actually moved their office from downtown to the burbs because the employees didn’t feel safe.

No I’m not. I know nearly every homeless encampment and hiding places of more than 5 people in the city I also know personally probably 60% of all local homeless personally. The new ones that flock to the homeless industry that our liberal leaders still make profit off of without helping anyone is sad. Rosen and crew makes millions and literally dumps sex offenders and murderers from other states not 4 blocks from you. Every day
