Portland...Seattle...Austin...LA...Chicago...NYPD...and (many) others have been hobbled, defunded, demoralized, declawed, and publicly abandoned by both their elected officials, and those who elected them.

You get what you vote for. These are simply chickens coming home to roost.

My heart goes out to those who volunteered to stand their watch in those liberal cesspools of filth and corruption. Personally, I'd be looking for a new job, and a new home to go with it. If the sheep want the coyotes to have the run of the ranch, then the sheepdog simply finds a new home.

The voters of Chicago have yet to learn. It's unlikely that the voters of Portland / Seattle will either. So they get what they voted for. And deserve.

Those who have been able to control their emotions have been held in check by the politicians within that city and state. Those responsible don't want to see a bloodbath and media circus on their streets between PD and the rioters, so they've opted to take the non-aggression route of "they'll get tired and begin to thin their own ranks eventually".

The ROE have changed significantly, on both sides.

Portland police on Tuesday identified a suspect in Sunday night's attack on a truck driver who was seen on video being pulled from the vehicle and violently beaten.

Portland Police Bureau is on the hunt for Marquise Love, who also goes by the name "Keese Love," for his alleged involvement in the vicious assault that was caught on video and circulated on social media.

Officials said in a press release they have made several attempts to reach 25-year-old Love, but have so far been unsuccessful. They have said they have probable cause for his arrest.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a 911 call from someone who reported that protesters “chased a white Ford” four-by-four truck, which then crashed in the downtown area, according to a department press release. Protesters then dragged the driver out of the vehicle, one caller stated. Another told police an estimated nine to 10 people began “beating the guy,” the caller stated.
