Its a difference in a cop shooting an unarmed man in the back and a citizen shooting someone in self defense for pointing a weapon at them on a dark street during a period of civil unrest.

If you have his info who cares? You will find him. You should never shoot someone in the back unless they are an active gunman killing innocents or trying to. Go to his house and arrest him later. Or don't be a weak fatazz and run him down and subdue him.
