Just glad to have something to be excited about. Hopefully our collective luck is about to change. Heckuva job by CCM and staff finally getting these guys to show some grit. Can you imagine how frustrating it had to be coaching this team earlier this year knowing what kind of potential we had in guys like JS and JM.

Well, Just because the conference tourney's are fun to watch doesn't mean they aren't a scam..I mean lots of teams get in that aren't in the top 68 in the nation. So that's why it CAN be considered a scam imo.

I enjoy the tourney's. They are part of what makes it March MADNESS. And in basketball I don't think the best team usually wins the championship (though they sometimes do), whereas in football I think the best team usually does. But the madness factor that basketball has...though not always resulting in the best team...is extremely entertaining.

Interesting that we are 3 spots ahead of Alabama and they still have a good shot at winning the regular season SEC title.

You mean they have a basketball team too? That must be what happens when you dont play anybody out of conference and your conference id down...

Just curious...what would be better for Tennessee to get an invite?

A) 5 seed in the SEC Tourney and win the game
B) One and done with a 4 seed

All this provided we win out the final 3 games and either scenario possible.

Glad we're playing MO in Knoxville because they haven't lost at home this year.
MO is definitely a different team on the road versus at home in Columbia. My wifes family and my kids are all Mizzou fans as they have all gone to school out here. Unfortunately, this means I see and hear more about MO than I can stomach. After the football game I thought I was going to have to leave the state. If the Vols continue to play defense they should be able to win in Knoxville but it will not be easy. Personally, I am excited to be where we are, as 3 weeks ago we were not even in the discussion for the tournament.

I'd say they are the same. Neither very good

If we win the last three I think we will be slotted a 10 or 11. If we win the SEC tourney a 6-7 is plausible. Win one or two games in tourney play and the dreaded 8-9 is where we slide in. JMO. I wanna stay away from 8-9 if all possible.

10 or 11 is worse.
