Don't know if this is the latest South Park thread or I missed it, but...

The Covid specials were really good. Almost comforting. I stopped watching regularly for about a decade so I'm a little lost on most the plot. But it was nice to tune in and relate to something on TV.

Most of my favorites are the ones that focus on Stan Marsh.

The Little League episode. The internet outage. Legalized medical marijuana.

Then there are their topical episodes. The one after the 2000 election when little Flora couldnโ€™t decide who she wanted for class President of Kindergarten. The fact that it came out within the week was just mind blowing.

And of course the illegal immigration one with the classic โ€œDey took r jerbs!โ€

South Park was same old South Park until a few years back, and then they did storylines that tied the whole season together. It's been fine, but because they cover current events, it's tied them to current events that you get sick of. It's clear even they were sick of doing Trump stuff but had to finish out the story. The COVID stuff has been great.

Seems like they are really big on the Tegridy farms story line.

I liked their vision of the future with everything Max which is a thing, the Alexa bot, and just their final conclusion and message. It's weird when South Park is about the only thing in media that even comes close to what feels like a reasonable message or position on all this. If it could get out in something other than a cartoon, that would be great.

I think the fact that it's a cartoon is part of why it works.

Huge south park fan. The covid specials were so good. I love seeing the old versions of the kids. What they did with Butters' character was masterful.

โ€œDeathโ€ from season 1 always makes me laugh.

โ€œSuper fun timeโ€ too. The ending cracks me up.

When they built that ladder to heaven was a good one.

The one where they got served was great too...

Idea of Randy getting served is great. Also Walmart *****ing itself is excellent. But mostly Randy capitalizing on Covid to sell weed makes me smile.

It was one of the very first ones where the kids were on the bus and were cussing and the bus driver would say "what'd you say" and the kids would rhyme something with the cussing and the bus driver would agree.

I believe one of the lines was "That b**** won't let us" and then they rhymed it with Rabbits eat lettuce.

Christian Rock Hard and Make Love, Not Warcraft are perfectly in the wheelhouse where I got EVERY bit of the satire. I also really like The Breast Cancer Show Ever because itโ€™s just straight up Cartman at his best/worst.

Watched the first Post Covid last night. The one Vaccine holdout of general Shell Fish-ness had me dying.

One thing I have read about that is it is fairly accurate portrayal of Ole Joseph and how the religion was founded.
