Sorry to hear that happened to the guy. I'm guessing his college career is done.

In before our Gator Trolls say "We already had 3 5* and 2 4* who were scheduled to take his place. He really wasn't going to see the field that much anyway. Not a loss"

You have no clue what he has done throughout his career do you?

He is out for the year, hate that for any kid. He is one of their weapons so it will help us. Hopefully he recovers just fine though.

he hasn't produced nearly anything outside of special teams.

it's a blow to them, but not that big.

last year he had like 5 catches for 15 yards.....

1. I find that doesn't really matter to trolls. 2. Don't take it personal. You have brought reasonable conversations to this board. But even you have to admit that for most trolls. That's not normal. :)

some people, of all stripes, post solid stuff. some don't.

i just bumped a thread, which was taken off the main board again, about ronald powell's acl injury from last year.

and i made statements about that injury (which was way more significant to the team than debose) and i got called out for all that "troll" garbage. i bumped the thread because i was dead on right, especially after reading the thread again.

part of it is the giddiness (sorry, but it's true) of people who claim they are not happy about an injury, but really are.

so, in powell's case, he was elevated to the best defensive player on the team (which he was not) because he lead the team in sacks in 2011.

in debose's case, a guy who has literally done nothing except return kickoffs (and to show how a guy is truly cursed i think florida has lost all but one game where he had a kickoff return for a td) is elevated to a big time playmaker. sorry, that's not the case.

now, if a week ago, i came on the board and told everyone what a stud wr andre debose was, i would have been blasted and rightfully so. but, after an acl injury, he's a big time playmaker.

but, you try to tell people the truth (and in debose's case, there is plenty of evidence) and no one wants to hear it who has an agenda.

Doesn't really hurt their sub-par passing game but he is a huge blow to the return game as he had 4 return TDs last year I think and a 27+ yard average.

I think FL really wanted to get their Offense in sync this year after last years woes, especially in passing. With Driskel, RB Jones and now Dubose that is just a pipe dream. They are going to once again depend on a highly talented Defense...this time with much less experience.

Hope a speedy recovery to Mr. Debose. I am praying the injury bug does not bite our Vols too hard. On a side note I tried some of the stretches I saw the players doing in the vids of practice and hot damn they work. Kudos to our s&c coaches.

Sh*t happens. I don't "wish" injury on anyone but I'd be lying if I said I'm not glad the Gators are dealing with all these injuries. It's our playable guys against their playable guys on Sept 21st and i hope we wipe our a$$es with them with the injured guys looking on from the sideline.

99gator's post is right on, but it everything was reversed and it was a Vol fan on a Gator board it would be the same reaction. That's just how fans are, you should expect homer posts when your on another team's message board.
