There isn't really a logical reason as to why one wouldn't want to play for Cal. However, other coaches get players drafted as well (not to the same extent, but other coaches aren't pulling in the same amount of talent, either). Kentucky isn't the only route to the NBA, and if one likes another school better, that's where he should go.

The reclassification definitely helps FSU's chances...hard to say Kentucky ever is the favorite, but I definitely wouldn't bet against FSU.

Wow, if you have first hand knowledge of the Jones payment then surely the NCAA would have heard something too? Maybe you could break the story to them.
