Is it because of the things our ancestors did or is it really just an excuse to fail and blame someone else for your defeats?

Like there is a better way to approach the subject or clean it up?

It's a hot button subject to begin with... then he adds in a twist of false concern (atrocities of the past) and sarcastic commentary (the excuse to fail quote).

I guess a better way would be to ask why some blacks seemingly are generally mad at "the white man" when the vast majority of white people had nothing to do with their problems or historical problems.

The only thing that angers me is the idea that some caucasians act as if/believe they are the ones that have have no chance to better themselves due to policies like Affirmative Action and that minorities should just get over the atrocities of the past as if it was a random fender bender in the parking lot.


...other than that, no issues exist with me personally.

I think some people suck at much more basic level than race or creed.

The german government killed and tortured millions of Jews and they appear to have moved on. Hell, it was another country that freed them too.

Many whites died fighting during the civil war to help free the slaves but oddly that seems to go forgotten.

They? I work a 40 and I ain't talkin about a schiltz malt liquor bull either!! I got a damn good job, pay my taxes, got MY OWN HOUSE, truck paid for, raised by both patents who has been married for 35 yrs, raised the way my grandparents were raised. You are talkin about them fools not me!!!! Shiiiiiit

Who has forgotten this?

I think today's black vs. white racial problems have far less to do with what happened hundreds of years ago and a lot more to do with what DIDN'T happen until much more recently, say the 60s and 70s.

I also don't think there is as much racial BS now as some appear to believe.

But I've been married a long time, so I'm used to being wrong. I could be here, too.

I think most of the "racial" stuff now is fueled by guilty whites who overcompensate and black "leader" opportunists, mixed in with the fringe of Neo-Nazi whites and Black Panthers. And also the younger the generation, the less of a problem it seems to be.

The average white and black person probably doesn't spend a whole lot of time worrying about it.
