Well, turns out Barnes DOES like living in East Tennessee a lot and will stay in Knoxville. Fulmer nearly doubled his salary to keep him, but I honestly don’t think he was truly ever as close to actually wanting to move to Los Angeles at his age as he likely wants everyone to think he was. Fulmer probably SHOULD have offered a respectful bump in pay, yes, but probably didn’t really need to go as high as he did. I’d have let him decide which was more important, money or happiness. I think he’d have still decided to stay put.
