Another GOP Grifter (Boebert)

This will become the real idiotocracy. Not massive buff pro wrestlers. But rather hot bimbos. She’ll probably face AOC for president 2028 and their first debate will be in a pool of jello, sponsored by Bill Cosby.
Could you imagine AOC in a serious debate.

"The church is supposed to direct the government. The government is not supposed to direct the church. That is how our Founding Fathers intended it." - Rep. Lauren Boebert

Well, she's half right.

The government is prohibited from directing a church. However, the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment also prohibits the government from favoring one religious view over another, or even from favoring religion over non-religion. If the government made it a matter of public policy to accept direction from a church (regardless of denomination), it would be in violation of the Establishment Clause.

For a sitting member of Congress to publicly assert that "our Founding Fathers" intended for a church to direct government, is embarrassingly ignorant.

Just because AOC has been on Colbert doesn't mean she's bright.
I don't think anyone is touting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's intelligence.

However, I have never heard her say anything quite as ridiculous as,

"The church is supposed to direct the government."

... and then, follow it up with,

"That is how our founding fathers intended it."

An 8th grader should understand that the founders of the United States of America, were opposed to state-sponsored churches, such as the Church of England. The founding fathers were against either a state or the federal government passing laws which aid one religious belief over another, including laws which support religious beliefs over atheism. It's hard to fathom that a current member of Congress doesn't understand this.

Watching leftists explain founding fathers’ intent and the Constitution is like watching a gun control advocate try to teach gun safety.
Yeah ... we should just roll with Lauren Boebert's interpretation. LOL.

She probably does have at least as good a grasp on the Establishment Clause as yourself.

The small end of the gun is what rests on the shoulder. Also the red on the safety means the bullet will stop before leaving the gun. But I’m sure you know that already.

If we set that litmus test then half of the democrats in congress would not qualify. Straight idiots.
Can you cite a specific example of even one Democrat in Congress exhibiting complete ignorance of The Bill of Rights, on par with Lauren Boebert's claim that,

"The church is supposed to direct the government," ?????

^^^ That is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard any member of Congress ever say. ^^^

I'm not sure you understand a damn thing. You come across as a blissfully ignorant, unread dumb a$$.

Wow. You either lack timing or you have zero knowledge of the constitution.
Try capitalizing the document before you critique someone else. Still suffering from concussion symptoms from the repeated teabagging I see. Remember red safety means the bullet stops. 😂
