Did you know that Tennessee has the number one offense in the SEC? Statistically, they are number one. Tennessee also has the worst ****ing defense in forever, how in the **** did Sunseri coach on a national title team? **** this goofball, fire his ass immediately and send Dools with him. I'd have to keep Chaney because even if we were down on him earlier this year, he has turned us into the number one offense in the SEC and 18th in the country. There is no reason with those offensive statistics, we should be a 1 loss team right now. I mean good god, it's not the talent on defense, it's the damn defensive coaching, truly ****ing pathetic, and he doesn't even fix it. Week in and week out, it's the same scheme and we get torched, Sunseri sucks and doesn't give a ****, so **** him. **** Dooley too for his bs in the pressers, like yesterday. "At the end of the day, we won". It was freaking Troy, you should just speak the truth, "we are in over our heads, I will admit it, that should have been a blowout, but we just can't cut it, the players deserve better, I'm stepping down". Ahhhhh, this **** makes me sick.

We have a Saban reject position coach at Head Coach with a Saban reject position coach at Defensive Coordinator.....both have no proven coaching ability on this level for what they were hired to do....we shouldn't be surprised really.

I know the defense is horrible. BUT will every one on here who was wanting us to get rid of Chavis, please raise their hand? Come on, don't be embarrassed

We are horrible in the defensive categories not only in the S.E.C. but in the NCAA and it is mostly due to poor coaching. The players are on the team to make us play better than this.

Chavis has a strong defense and we have a weak defense and that is in part due to poor coaching. How do you like me now????????

I know how you feel OP. I had this same rant back after the floriduh game.

Its wierd now...I used to shout at the TV, throw ****, pray, Cheer after a big play, etc. I now just lie on the couch, rather lethargic, sipping on my beers with no care in the world. My rule is when we get 3 touchdowns down to the opponent, I will stop watching and get on with my day.

When we were winning back in the day and had a loss, I would mope around and it would basically ruin my day. now losing is almost the expectation with this coaching staff.

I mean really...Why get all wrapped up in this thing until something changes? Dude, it make me sick when I see how our team looks and watch a game like bama and lsu last night. all of those kids on both teams are very well coached and really have the heart and desire to win.

I just dont see that 100% effort from our team or our coaching staff.

Lastly, have you really sat down and watched the more recent post game pressers with Dools. I highly recommend you do but really watch his body language and listen to the sarcasm. This guy just dont care anymore.

A couple of things-it is amazing to me that the #1 offense in the SEC is only #18 nationally. I know we've always been a defensive league, but that's kinda shocking. Secondly, saying Sunseri coached on a national champ team, while accurate, is not really an accurate picture of his impact. It's like saying your voting on Tuesday to determine the president. It's technically correct, but if you stay home it's unlikely the outcome will change.

2012 Offense + 2008 Defense = National Champs. I'm glad I was a student here for both times of suckage.

I admit at times i wished they would have replaced him when Tennessee would lose games because of his prevent you to win Defense.I would take him back in a heart beat now.

On that last drive Chavis's defense played too soft and allowed Bama to score easily.

Reminds me of someone I know who is angry at the world and blames everything on someone else, yet is very unsuccessful in his own personal life.

Chavis is good, but after watching LSU Defense play great until the final drive last night against Alabama reminded me of some late game scares and losses while he was in Knoxville, I am not bemoaning his departure. Until last night, I had blamed Fulmer for those games, but Fulmer isn't at LSU. Chavis is. Since he doesn't want to come back, why even mention him? Good Grief!

This is exactly what I have experienced as well. I used to watch every play even in the losses to see how we could improve next time, I'd watch games of our upcoming opponents to see what we would be up against and to guess how the coaches would be preparing. Now, I hardly have the stomach to watch ANY other games, including our losses. 3 TDs down and I turn it off as well. I no longer let UT football dictate my mood for the rest of the weekend.

My UT buddies don't hold their Vol watch parties anymore for each game. This is sad bc we always had good drunken fun after a win and had someone else to share in the misery with after losses.

We were supposed to be so much closer this season! I had hoped that we would be competitive enough that championships might be realistic in a year or two again at this point.

Something big needs to happen I think. I 'wow' hire with an impressive staff would be start. Now its Hart's turn to perform. This is probably the most important decision he will make as AD especially where his own professional future is concerned.

Are you saying we can finally put to bed that stupid argument from last year that if we had had Hunter and Bray that we would have had more W's?

Not me. He dumped the mustang. That was enough for me. I'd take Ol' John back in a second.

That Offense tends to disappear at times Florida 4th qtr., Alabama the whole game, Miss. St. 4th qtr., Akron
3rd qtr. Tenn. has padded its stats against bad D. Georgia St. Akron Troy I would say South Carolina is the only exception this.

I feel your pain. I have been to exactly 6 games in the last 3 years. I went to EVERY home game and some away games starting in '91 up until the last year of Fulmer's reign. Nowadays, I pefer to spend my cash on liquor and scuba gear. Besides; it's less painful to get drunk, stick my arm in a wood-chipper and then go drown myself.
