It's just a theory on my part but I genuinely believe social media and the general "put it all out there" world the youth are growing up in now has stunted development for whatever part of the brain is responsible for keeping things on the DL.

Yeah but then who reported? The parents or the school?

I’m going to assume the age difference between this substitute teacher and the boy was about 5 years.

My wife and I are 6 years apart. Granted I didn’t start dating her while she was in high school.

I'm with you...it seems to me that the younger crowd (and honestly, a healthy number of my middle-aged contemporaries) are all about doing whatever they need to do in order to gain attention and a reaction, damn the consequences. It's that rush in their reward pathways they get when they realize there's another human (or these days, bot/AI) is paying attention to their nonsense...that's what they seem to crave.

You know, honestly I don't think I even knew there was such a thing as collegiate bowling. It seems like it's not a coed sport.

E Sports and Bowling are in right now. We really are headed towards peak athleticism across the board. Any game where you get better after a few more drinks or after a couple of hits is quite the “sport”.

There's as much background technology in bowling equipment and the game as there is in golf or baseball.
