This movie felt really disjointed to me and the entire Ghost plot seemed mostly pointless. Still, it was an enjoyable movie.

I think the problem with the D.C. Universe is that once you get past Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman and the Joker, the rest just aren't that memorable.

Personally before the MCU I couldn't name you any of those superheroes beyond some X-Men, Spiderman, and Hulk

Probably comes down to which comics you followed as a kid. I was more of a Marvel reader than D.C., although I did enjoy Batman. I would say Hulk, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, maybe Thor and Iron Man, were household names.

From DC I knew basically The main JL members and their main bad guys.

From Marvel I knew all the main Avengers, Spider-man, Wolverine, most of the main X-Men, Daredevil, Deadpool, Punisher, Nick Fury, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, and I had heard of Ant-Man, Ghost Rider, and Blade but didn't know much about them. I was definitely more of a Marvel guy than DC, but there are many in the MCU I had very little knowledge of like Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain Marvel.

Flash? Green Lantern? Hawkman?

I loved Superman as a little kid and I attribute that mostly to the Christopher Reeves movies. Around 8-9 I got into reading comics because Spider-Man and the Hulk then spread into Punisher, Wolverine, Fantastic Four from there. By the time I was a teenager I was reading both Marvel and DC.... and Image... and Valiant.... and Dark Horse.... and just about anything my local comic shop carried. Never quite understood taking sides. I liked all comics. Both Marvel and DC have had highs and lows.

That’s why it pains me to see DC, who has had the movie studio backing for waaaaay longer than Marvel, be so dysfunctional.

Well I have been so busy that I hadn't made it to see it and my local theater put out there showings for the next week beginning tonight and its already been pulled.

It must not have been performing the way most Marvel films do. I think BP & Infinity War was there close to a month or longer.

They do still have Fallen Kingdom and Incredibles 2 showing however.

It just now released in China, and it opened to $68 million there. It's now at $544 globally and $211 domestically, which is both better than the first one. When it's done it will likely pass $600 million globally which is pretty average for MCU films.
