Anthony Grant Leaving Bama For Mizzou?

No you are wrong, I do remember, and ut fans need to realize if a school is facing possible sanctions, having coaching turnovers, coaches lying to the ncaa and cheating, you can't expect big name coaches to just come there because it is ut. There are too many other places to go and schools willing to pay them. Support the coaches willing to come there, and stop the rumors about other coaches.

even though this is my first post in this thread, i feel as though I am being scolded by my uncle. You know, the one that your parents bought the trailer for, because he just got out of prison and nobody else in the family would help. The compass of morality, thank you for your input.

Has nothing to do with ut's inability to hire coaches. Last week, ut was foolishly thinking Grant would come to tn. Why would a coach leave a promising team, where he is getting a raise, to take on a team that will be facing ncaa sanctions. After ut hires a coach no one knew, the next move is to start rumors, face it, no big name coach will be coming to tn. until they know what the future holds. It is just not that big of a job right now.

Typical bama logic. Grant has his agent pimping him out everywhere and is getting shot down. You keep thinking he's worth almost 2 mil per and we'll whip that ayse with CCM and have $$$ in the bank.

I know you are, but what am I?

You bammers are going backwards. I especially like how you had to sign up with two different user names so that you would have someone to agree with. Beautiful!

Quite an accomplishment to beat a .500 team in the SEC in overtime without their best player, lol! Hilarious. And that team you beat still managed to make the NCAAs - as far as everyone else is concerned - you guys were only the 70th best team in the country at the end of the day.

He cut his losses because he was failing. Harder to lie with a straight face to men in the NFL than it is to sit in a kid's living room and do it.

Pretty F'n good post right there. How many medical hardships is ol Midget Saban handing out this year?

(lol...when I type "saban" my spell check autocorrects it to "satan")

This is why I love college sports, and watching UT get spanked for the 5th year in a row I believe! Hey, this may finally be your year, lol. Nah, Richardson is going to gut UT, lol

Seems all this "fiscal responsibility" by the orange has you a little emotional. With SEC revenue sharing at an all time high, if you don't lead the conference in wins, Hamilton's got you out front in being thrifty. Hey, works for Vandy.

You're saying he can?

I'm not the one saying he tried. You made the claim, back it up.

I have trouble believing that Grant's stock has dropped so far that he can't even get an interview while Mark Gottfried and Frank Haith get hired.

This is actually true. Except Vanderbilt was willing to pay more than UT for a football coach until they were shot down.
