Anthony Jordan (head official vs LSU)

Is any reporter questioning the SEC on their policy regarding whether ‘fans’ of a team can ref their games? Do they even ask?

You are 100% correct. The article is 100% based on the data taken from 2008-2013. I never stated that it wasn't. This was in response to a comment that prior to officiating the NCAA Jordan was a horrible NBA ref. The assumption was that the bad performance carried over to his NCAA career. I posted this article with the statement that according to the data posted in the article the exact opposite is true.

Reading comprehension is your friend. But, we all know that it's much easier to jump on someone an point the finger on a forum. The data showed 100% opposite of what was asserted by the poster, nothing more, nothing less.

Reading comprehension is my friend....10 year old data....things change bubba. Using this data either in support or against is Bull.

Again you have to read, and comprehend the reply was to a question about his first few years as an SEC official. Which is 💯 relevant. Don’t see what’s so hard to understand about that?

I believe the jackass should be removed from officiating in the SEC. He has demonstrated that he is a LSU fan and bets for his team.

Some of his calls were horrid, yes. But in his defense it’s a hell of a job officiating that level of athlete. I do college baseball out here in the Midwest (not D1, mostly lower level schools and some JUCO).

I will add that we are asked to give list of schools we could have a conflict of interest with. I couldn’t do UT, the school my wife teaches at, or the schools I have went to or are attending.

It's Over, Problem Identified. LSU is Handicapped can't win if Ref's see what they want to see. Obvious mistakes made by staff. Should not have been in this position with a 9 pt lead in Regulation. Stuff happens.

Sad part about this is that Jordan got paid $2500 plus expenses for D- work. Had to give him a D- vs an F because he showed up for the game with a whistle.

As it should be. The SEC will never admit they are wrong, because they would be admitting that there is a problem. The SEC must get the officiating under control. The calls in the UT vs Ole Miss were laughable.

Add to the list Arky vs Ky. It’s bad all over.

The last play was a foul on Grant by the book. Hard to really deny that even if it goes uncalled 99 times out of 100. There are much bigger issues to take that crew, specifically Anthony Jordan, to task over.

My point.... they decided to ignore the foul on them but call it on us... call em all...

It makes me think that the SEC told Barnes that Jordan wouldn't ref another SEC game this year, and that's what Barnes meant when he said he was confident the SEC would handle it correctly. They have clearly pulled him from the rotation.
