Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

You could get on the side of "would rather have another president because his sh!t stinks to high heaven" instead of trying to give him cover behind "all sides are equally corrupt, and incompetent". Judge the man and don't compare him to any party or person. Even if you like his policies, judge the man.
I have no problem with someone else winning the next election. I'm not for impeaching him simply because I don't believe he's done anything that calls for it. I get people don't like him, but you need a better reason than that to kick him out of office. It's not about supporting Trump. It's about supporting a valid election. If a Dem wins the next election, I'll feel the same way.

It's not about supporting a valid election. Nobody is saying it's invalid, we are just saying there are some stupid people out there that got him in office to begin with. You actually believe that there is nothing for Trump to be impeached over or even start the proceedings or even have congressional oversight. I don't know what you're missing. The campaign was complicit in what the Russians were doing. They both had the same agenda so maybe there wasn't any actual collusion that could be proven, maybe a wink and a nod at the Trump Tower meeting. I'm not cool with anyone he had working on the campaign, some are in jail or already served their time, mainly for lying about their contacts with the Russians. Mueller has laid out 10 attempts at Obstruction on Trump's part because of the Russia investigation. And to think Hillary would have been impeached in her first year for her email server.

Ex-GOP congressman calls for impeachment, says Trump an 'illegitimate president' - CNNPolitics

A former longtime Republican congressman called Friday for the impeachment of President Donald Trump, who he said is an "illegitimate president."
"I'm calling for impeachment now because the Mueller report is out, and in it (special counsel Robert Mueller) describes 10 obstruction of justice charges that he could not bring because of a Department of Justice rule and regulation that says you can't indict a sitting president -- that's (reason) number one," former Rep. Tom Coleman, who represented Missouri for nearly two decades, told CNN's Erin Burnett on "OutFront."
"Number two, I believe this is an illegitimate President because he welcomed help and influence from the Russians in his campaign," he said. "For example, his (campaign) chairman Paul Manafort met with a Russian intelligence asset in New York and shared with him their polling information and a strategy on how to win the Midwestern states."
Coleman continued: "It's wrong and it needs to be handled and looked at by the Congress because I believe it's an impeachable offense."

The former congressman, who also made the impeachment case Wednesday in a Kansas City Star op-ed, told Burnett he believes Trump is "dismantling our democracy every day brick-by-brick (through) his actions, his lies, his abuse of power."

Those former and ex politicians really carry a lot of weight.
Carries no weight. Just the views of a long time republican concerned with nothing more than the good of the nation.

You term limit guys should put more stock into what ex-politicians say than in what current politicians say who are only trying to get re-elected. Right?

I care about the opinions of former liars as much as i do the opinions of the current liars. Too much to hope they will simply shut up and die.

There currently seems to be a number of things falling into that "too much to hope for" category.

He didn't renew his pledge to the Republican Party. He even uses the "Brick by brick" bit. He's been passed by.

JUDGE SUSPENDED WITHOUT PAY FOR ANTI-TRUMP COMMENTS IN COURT, SOCIAL MEDIA

The Supreme Court of Utah upheld a six-month suspension without pay for a municipal judge who disparaged President Donald Trump on social media and during official judicial proceedings.

Taylorsville Justice Court Judge Michael Kwan undermined public confidence in the courts by intervening in the political process, the state Supreme Court concluded.

The state Judicial Conduct Commission (JCC) brought formal charges against Kwan after the judge disparaged the president on social networks and in his own courtroom during official proceedings. In one social media post, for example, Kwan suggested that congressional Republicans were comparable to the rubber-stamp parliament of Nazi Germany.

I'm curious, considering its origins, how long until the left begins protesting Memorial Day? Its roots are found in people honoring the Civil War dead, both Union and Confederate, after the war ended. Didn't become an official holiday until much later, but that's where it began.

Ummm no ... he was / is a never -Trumper , he isn’t “ starting to realize “ . You either didn’t do your homework or it’s just a poor attempt at making it look like he just realized Trump should go because CNN brought him on for their bash Trump segment .

A number of never Trumpers are now in bed with Trump - did they "realize" they were wrong or did they just sell their soul?

I can’t answer for them . Maybe they just “ realized “ that’s where they should be . Tom Coleman has always been a never Trumper . He didn’t have an epiphany and call CNN just to reveal it to the world last week .

I think trump has something on Lindsey Graham. Like what would be powerful enough to make a effeminate man, who's never been married or had kids suddenly go from trump hater to trump fellator?
