Brings his recruits with him to florida even though he is the defensive coordinator? So far it looks like he has an incredible recruiting class. I heard muschamp was the main recruiter.Maybe not. ButDoes he bring some of his recruits with him? What happens to floridas current recruits? Thanks

I might be wrong but this hire doesn't scare me too much. Add that to no head coaching experince and I think we are in better shape at this point and time. Might be wrong but don't think so

He will bring no recruits, none that matter anyway- although I do think he spends a good bit of time trying to keep floridas class together

Texas opens the door and the Texans walk in or not. We'll see what Muschamp can really do down in FL. Interesting for sure...

Guys just read on orangebloods CMB is in deep do-do. He now must replace O-coor. D-coor and ST-coor. article asked if his heart was still in it.
May be too late this year to make hay in Texas but next year who knows.:loco: GBO!!!

The only coach that Florida could have hired (now that Meyer is gone) that would frighten me is Saban, and he's already at Bama. Florida is just not as scary any longer.

Do you find it strange that Tenn tried to hire him but he recomended Dooley to our AD instead??????

Florida is basically a plug and play program. Tennessee needed lots of work.

agree, but how does it affect recruiting when Dooley is going against him for a recruit and He says, yea, I know Ut's coach, I helped get him his job.

If you don't consider this a huge hire, you're sadly mistaken. Just from a recruiting standpoint, UF now has a direct pipeline to Texas, as well as Florida.

Personally I think people read far too much into things, as far as recruiting goes. I realize it gives everyone something to talk about when there is no legitimate news, but that's JMO.

No ... some Texas kids go to Baylor, some to Texas Tech, some to Texas A&M and at one time we had opened a good pipeline into Texas ourselves
