A high school buyout from an SEC school would be easy. I am not saying South Carolina would go this route but would be something a consistent cellar dweller of SEC could ultimately make them relevant in 3-4 years.

I would have to think that any later investigations into the program would result in that absolutely blowing up in their faces (with...i guess they'd be called "backhand deals"...like that)

As opposed to your intelligence which produces some idiotic plan to hire Bruce Pearl, but does not stop there. It then claims this exercise in masterful strategy would produce better results in three years than ANY coach from a current mid major could produce. Laugh out loud dumb.

it was a joke. My point is that hiring a HS coach to run your SEC program while your coach-in-waiting is serving out a 2yr NCAA ban isn't the smartest move. Even USCjr basketball could do better

You can't make an end around play on the NCAA. They would not allow this. Any contact between Pearl and USCe basketball or USCe basketball staff would be seen as a violation. Show cause means no involvment whatsoever with an NCAA basketball program.

Link to the rumor? I'm confused what pearl has to do with a recap of the south Carolina/Alabama game that was posted. Unless you are saying it came from a message board. then it doesn't need a link because it's the truth.

Also, some are assuming Pearl's ability to recruit will be the same. Parents will not be easily swayed when reminded he asked a recruit and his dad to lie for him. Pearl will never be the same coach. He damaged his rep too much.

Not sure how you could call me a stalker, considering I have responded to your stupidity a handful of times at most. Of course, from that last sentence especially it does appear that you have a tough time grasping the concept of what a stalker is, which is not the least bit surprising considering the lack of intelligence which you show here everyday. The definition of a stalker is:

"a person who harasses another person, as a former lover, a famous person, etc., in an aggressive, often threatening and illegal manner: Hollywood stars often have security guards to keep dangerous stalkers at bay."

So clearly I have not demonstrated any "stalker" like characteristics. Also, as you can clearly see from that definition it in no way implies that a stalker isn't boring. Try graduating elementary school before posting :good!:

Regardless of where you stand on a replacement should or could be. Board has to realize if a guy in this day and age can't win in 3 years and declines you gotta cut bait.

I want him gone yesterday. The problem is that the board doesn't want to pay the 2.4 million dollar buy out. It drops to 1.6 next year.
