Any word from practice this week?

Is Worley getting first team reps still? Has there been any post-practice interviews? Seems awfully quiet for Florida week.

I heard Worley will start and play the first half......after that who knows. He has gotten most all the reps this week. That I think is the reason for a closed practice to avoid more criticism. Bajakian's choice is Worley then Peterman.

With the defense we'll face Saturday, we may need all 4 QB's and then some....don't want to be negative, just can't seem to see alot of positives, the season is going as predicted so far

Injury update:
• Out: WR Devrin Young, TE Alex Ellis, DT Trevarris Saulsberry, TE Justin Meredith, TE Joseph Ayres, CB Riyahd Jones, WR Ryan Jenkins, LB Raiques Crump, WR Ryan Jenkins, K George Bullock, WR Johnathon Johnson
• Limited: TE A.J. Branisel, WR Pig Howard, LB Brent Brewer, LB Dontavis Sapp, S Max Arnold, CB Michael F. Williams, S Brian Randolph
On his Wednesday night radio show, coach Butch Jones confirmed that Howard and defensive end Corey Vereen (who missed the first three weeks) will both play at Florida. Linebacker Curt Maggitt will not play and Crowder is questionable.
Other notes/observations:
• Howard continues to get limited work in practice. He’s going through walk-through drills, but goes over to the stationary bike for most of practice.

I heard from a janitor at the stadium that some guy was throwing a football on the field.

Something has to give with this QB situation. I just hope they get it figured out soon or were going to be in the same shape as the last couple of yrs.

Is maggit going to take an medical redshirt?

starting to look that way.... can't understand what is going on with him and his situation. At this rate, no need for him in the South Alabama game either, so just sit him for the season..

I doudt that there will be any word from practice. I would guess that the starter will not be announced until the day of the game OR one of the other three will practice all week, as the starter. Then we begin the game with Worley and after a quarter, we put in the other q.b. and run the new plays with the new q.b.

I expect Florida to adjust accordingly though...

Hope game doesn't come down to Palardy!!!!!!

He's not even 1 year removed from his surgery and that is the typical minimum needed for major ACL reconstruction. If he is indeed participating at practice to the degree he is, he's actually making remarkable progress.

Patience, people, patience...

He absolutely should. His situation is turning into Maymon 2. We need him healthy next year and hopefully the year after that much more than we need him trying to play at less than 100% this year, and getting hurt worse.

My source, aka my dog who is a Blue Heeler, they are essentially desert versions of Blue Tick hounds, which more or else makes her a cousin to Smokey, says that there may or may not be a surprise at the QB position this week. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Bingo, the problem is that stories like Adrian Peterson's remarkable recovery make people think ACL patients should be back to normal in 4-6 months.

For the majority of ACL injuries a person doesn't recover fully for 12-18 months (some as long as 2 years). Patience indeed.
