IMO it's making this conference worse with them joining and they won't hang in the SEC

i dont like them joining,it appears we are about to lose one commit over it. and i do think they will be able to hang in the sec look at all the talent that comes out of the state of texas that are gonna wanna play in the best conference and most noticed conf. to the nfl.

I still don't completely like it, but it's growing on me. I think A&M will compete fine, however.

those kids from texas can play ball, i think TAMU will be able to pull any of the best athletes out of texas

Who are we about to lose? I haven't heard.

My only concern is long-term recruiting ability. This expansion is gonna happen anyway, whether we like it or not. That's just how the Benjamins roll... :) I think it's just happening at a bad time with the state of our football team, since we're haven't been up in the [good] spotlight in a while. Gotta make an impression now and keep the recruits coming in. Like I said in an earlier post, it's time to get Coach Sirmon on the horn and in Santos's ear.... gotta find out how firm this kid is. I don't want another signing-day flip flop like that goofball that decided to sign with U $ C to "competitively practice" for his first two years. Lamar Dawson it was? (I think)

I'm not a huge fan of expanding. But it could be worse. I just don't know who to take for #14

Really doesn't matter what anyone thinks, it is a done deal. Better Q IMO is how will the East/West be divided once a 14 comes in and who will that be? Will we go WVU or go up in the east like a UCONN? I do not believe an ACC will switch but I would like VT.

Why would people have a problem with watering down the best football conference in the nation and risking the loss of the Tennessee-Alabama rivalry?

yeah id rather see VT then Uconn, though it would be crazy if uconn had to face lady vols twice every year.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." 5 straight National Championships and 7 of 13 since the BCS era. Expansion has no business in the SEC
