they couldn't do any worse then couple teams we have now.. plus TX is an awesome place for recruiting

Teams I think A&M would easily beat:

Vandy
UK
MSU
Ole Piss
Auburn

Teams I think A&M could win/lose in a close one:

UT
UGA
UF
Arkansas


Unless I'm dead wrong, this makes A&M more than competitive enough to play with us.

Aside from that, I love the Aggies.

Not for expansion in general. If it "had" to happen, A&M is not at the top of the list of who I'd want.

I dont think A&M is ready for the SEC it will take a couple of years

I really don't have any opinion on it really, I guess I'm happy for A&M's fans since they have been waiting a long time for it. I just think the SEC had to expand in order to keep up with the others.

Aside from UF, Bama, and LSU... the SEC is pretty weak this year.


Utah State, LA Tech, Fla Atlantic, Louisville... these teams have played to the wire/beaten SEC teams this year.

And Boise of course. Let's not forget Boise.

IMO they are easily third behind 'Bama and LSU. They can compete with, and beat, teams like MSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Arkansas.

Boise is actually way better than A&M. The only team that has won out of that list is Louisville against Kentucky. Also Texas A&M will be joining the oh so powerful SEC West as a LSU fan told me.

If A&M was in the SEC this year, they'd immediately be the 3rd best team. For that matter, in the past 3 years (or maybe more), they'd have beat the piss out of us in football. If you don't want expansion, that's fine, but don't pretend they can't hang. There's plenty of cons, but them being uncompetitive isn't one.

I think Arkansas will beat A&M for the second time this year. Tennessee maybe could beat them. AU No. Ole Miss No. UGA maybe. Personally i think they finish 4th or 5th behind Bama, LSU, and Arkansas.
