And you become a little less accurate when you don't have much around you, and are trying to do too much. He won't have that problem in the NFL. Locker will be a good QB.

That's about how I feel about it too. Listening to him talk, it sounds to me like he has tremendous drive and won't let anything stop him from getting better. I sincerely hope the Titans take him at 8.

He's a 2nd or 3rd round guy. If the Titans take him with the eighth pick in the draft, what a mistake that will be.

You can't become more accurate? Huh, that's interesting.

Not often you see an inaccurate college qb become a pinpoint passer in the NFL. Time will tell, but I don't think Locker will be able to make the necessary improvement.

No your right, you don't. However, You don't necessarily have to be a pinpoint accurate QB to do well in the NFL.

Haven't seen anyone of importance suggest that the Titans will take him @ 8.

College stats mean nothing in the NFL, if they did Favre would have busted and Colt Brennan would be tearing it up right now. Locker has all the right things to make it work at the next level he just needs to go to a team that is willing to work with him. I'd be very happy if the Titans got him at #8, if our coaches and FO think his is "the guy" draft him early instead of risking him not being there later.

Lol no he isn't, he'll get drafted in the 1st round and probably some where in the top 15.

The Titans are in love with him dating back to last year. We've had him in on half a dozen visits and interviews or so. He is the most linked quarterback to us, I could go on and on. I'm 95% sure he'll be our pick at #8.

He had plenty around him and he didn't get better year over year.

Dude, he is completely inaccurate. Sure, he's athletic, but he's not an NFL QB.

You left out Joey Harrington.

You're right. That is, as long as you have Mike Vick's legs.

Any successful QB in the NFL will have to make more than two simple reads and be able to put the ball on a dime from 40 yards to hack it in the League. If a coach like Sark can't get you to do that on a near-weekly basis in the Pac-10, I doubt any coaches in the NFL can get you to do it either.

Take a gander at Locker's stats in the two games he played against Nebraska this year.

Locker is loved by people who look at his size, but he will have trouble in the NFL. He cannot overpower the defensive players, like he could sometimes in college, and will have trouble throwing on NFL DBs.

You were correct. I'm excited, hope he can hack it. Seems to be a very nice guy.
