Anyone else think that LSU will be even more dangerous next year?

QB situation is still iffy at the very best. If Mettenberger can play, theyll be respectable. Big losses in Nevis, PPete, and Sheppard.

I think Mettenberger is an upgrade for them. They'll just reload with talent as they always do....lucky mofos.

I think Les can pull up a rocker and a bottle of wine this coming year with Chavis and Krags watching over the team.

Miles will still host the annual bug boil however,,

To be fair, first year QB's have won quite a few national titles in the BCS era.

And I said rarely. Predicated the whole deal on Mettenberger's play. Unlikely that it's title worthy, but it could be. Defense will also take a step back, which doesn't help when you show up with plans like they did Auburn.

I think a lot of publications will have LSU in the top 3 if not #1 next year. The LSU/Bama game could be 1 vs. 2 next year in Tuscaloosa.

Not to mention that Oregon/LSU will almost certainly be a top 5 matchup.

Their in the same boat as Bama next year or Auburn this year. A lot of talent, but who knows how the new QB will perform. So goes the QB , so goes the team.

If peterson came back they would clearly be the team to beat..

But he didn't, so ill take bama over Arkansas.

LSU will be typical LSU next year. Solid defense, probably the most athletic team in the country (like they have been since Saban arrived) but inconsistent with QB problems and the Mad Hatter at the helm. They could beat anyone, but they could also lose to anyone.

I think their only loss next season will be to Alabama.

Intriguing hire, for sure.

There would just be something cool about Kragthorpe's LSU offense putting about 42 on Arkansas, too.

You can't win if you don't score. LSU will lose 3 games next year. Yall can slobber over them all day and night while I increase my bankroll betting against them.

You can't win if you don't score.
