Anyone else think that the falcons will be the surpise team of the year?

Thankfully with Marshawn that wont be an issue as the Buffalo press and coaches can’t get enough of the fine young man and he is destined to greatness.
I saw this guy on one of the NFL Network Rookie shows or something a few days ago, and I have to ask... is he a complete moron with the mental state of a 4 year old, or does he just put on a good act?

He has over a 3.0 gpa his entire time at cal. I think his oakland background makes his speech pattern not sound too bright.

I can't quite understand all these character comments on marshawn that i've seen. I can't remember a Cal player who had more praise from the coaching staff for his work ethic, selflessness, and attitude .

I wasn't commenting on his attitude or any of that kind of stuff... just the fact that he seems to be on the same level mentally as Forrest Gump.

I think Joey could have a big year based on his continual underachievement and desire to prove his potential, is much more than just potential.
To Vgtx's point: how on earth does his continual underachievement support your belief that he'll have a big year? Additionally, what is that add on garbage 'is much more than just potential'?

I truly can't figure out what you're trying to say.

He's always been very shy. The bills would do him a favor if they got him enrolled in some public speaking classes.

All the makings of a surprise year. . . noted star who has really never accomplished anything and is generally dislikely by teamates is gone for the year (i'm assuming) and is replaced by formally underachieving backup veteran QB. Team then rallies around said backup. I'm picking Joey as a late round pick in my fantasy draft.

edit: whoops i guess i should have put this in the nfl forum
no, the falcons will suck. M. Vick is that franchise, w/out him, they won't do a lick. the bucs and saints will both be better and as a panther fan, i have a particular reservation about the panthers vs. falcons, but on paper, the panthers should also be better. the D line, J. Peppers particularly, will love going againts JH instead of M Vick.
