There's no way they'd tell him won't be back unless they plan on firing him this weekend. "Hey, your done, but keep recruiting and coaching for a couple months thanks!"

Not necessarily. Houston Nutt was fired after Ole Miss lost to Kentucky & he finished out the season. Certainly not the best tactic, but it's been done before.

Who says the players know? It would be in their interest to keep silent till seasons end. It could affect how they play out.

Obviously you don't watch the post game vids. You can tell it bothers him to lose,especialy this game. And you are assuming what he knows,and how it'll be under gruden. You have NO way of knowing.

He was posting in regards to what the original thread was about, my man. There's a twitter account named KnoxSwag that is friends with a few players on the team that "supposedly" told him they were told today Dooley will not return as head coach next season.
