Anyone feel like this at midnight?

There may be a few that are letting a football game of a rival team affect how they feel. I am more confident right now about the time frame for us to reach that pinnacle. We have had the best season in two decades and the convincing win in the Orange Bowl have set my mood for the new year. Let them enjoy their time in the sun, because it is about to be eclipsed.

My stomach turns every time I think about UGA winning anything. I have grown to dislike those fools on a level that is above my 1990s hatred of Florida. Their existence (UGA’s) alone is enough justification to disavow any of the “SEC solidarity” garbage forever.

Go TCU.

My wife (a Bulldog...we are Truly "a house divided") was SCREAMING in Joy as the wounded duck kick fluttered...

I turned it into taking advantage of the situations and starting off the year...with a "bang"!

This may be a controversial thought but I hate OSU/Mich because they don’t have to play anyone the entire season. They can sit back and prepare for two games for 3 months: OSU/Mich game and their respective bowls.
Of course they will do well in those games because their worthless conference allows them to look ahead to games played at the end of the season.
I am glad both teams lost in the first round. Too bad one of the teams was Georgia, but Georgia is lesser of two evils. At least they deserved to be there.

You forgot to mention that they ALSO perennially start the year in the Top 5-10 and as they "eat their cupcakes" through their Regular Season...they remain/raise in the rankings...until their "1st Game' which is late November.

Idk, Kirby vs Kirk the two biggest whiners of the year someone had to lose.

UGA was lucky or at best fortunate to win that one. (1) The timeout on the fake punt that OSU converted (game over) Kirby did call tO but they snapped the ball before official blew whistle. I've seen that both ways were the official doesnt see the TO and they dont replay & like they awarded UGA.
(2) The targeting to Harrison in the end zone and then they canceled it.
(3) The 4th down stop, on Bowers then they go to some kind of laser measurement to where they awarded him a 1st.

If any of these had not happened, they would not have made a comeback. also, on one long TD pass, OSU DB fell down but I consider that just part of the game lucky yes, but it happens.

Well, I was pulling against UGA I don't know any OSU fans and we basically recruit against UGA, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and Florida, we have come up short vs these teams are why I hope all of them get on the path Auburn and Florida are on. This will pay dividends for our Vols we rarely go head-to-head with OSU although I do dislike them.

I've never seen anything like that silly 'laser' thing, but after the stop when they were going to commercial I turned to my wife and said "I guarantee they will look at that and overturn it".

Regarding Harrison, if it wasn't called targeting on the field I could see leaving it, but it was too close to overturn the call. And the fact that Harrison was out of the game is more evidence that it was a head shot. Another year with Georgia's opponent losing their best WR's.

I fault Day's play calling as much as anything for that loss. 1st down at the 30 with about 30 seconds and two timeouts, and he comes up with the most incredibly unimaginative calls. You know they're going to stack the box and bring pressure, why not some kind of quick slant or out to pick up 5-6 yards and make the FG more manageable? Not second guessing, because I was saying it at the time.

The timeout was close.
The targeting call was a bs call.
He got the first.

"I screw better when we are winning".

I was yelling this at the TV at the time also. It was like Day was saying, “Yeah, I’m satisfied with my guy trying a 50-yard kick. Not interested in shaving a few yards off that distance.” He ran plays right into the heart of Georgia’s defensive strength.

I don’t have the hate for Ohio State like any others on here do, but I hate them a little now simply because they didn’t knock out the idiot Georgia Bulldogs when they had a golden opportunity. Now, we all have to suffer because that piece of garbage program and fanbase are winning another national championship unless TCU can come up with a big upset.

Thanks a lot, Buckeyes.

Goodness, I hate Georgia.
