Cool but I don’t think last nights game mattered at all for recruiting or future of the programs involved. Early signing period, the portal and NIL has changed High School recruiting forever anyways. If anything a loss gives the coach a reason to tell a kid, “come here and you make the difference for us in that loss”… jmo thoughWell, I was pulling against UGA I don't know any OSU fans and we basically recruit against UGA, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and Florida, we have come up short vs these teams are why I hope all of them get on the path Auburn and Florida are on. This will pay dividends for our Vols we rarely go head-to-head with OSU although I do dislike them.
Try being a Ga Tech family with two kids at UT. Hatred for all things UGA cannot run any deeper. My stomach turns every time I think about UGA winning anything. I have grown to dislike those fools on a level that is above my 1990s hatred of Florida. Their existence (UGA’s) alone is enough justification to disavow any of the “SEC solidarity” garbage forever.
Go TCU.
I was yelling this at the TV at the time also. It was like Day was saying, “Yeah, I’m satisfied with my guy trying a 50-yard kick. Not interested in shaving a few yards off that distance.” He ran plays right into the heart of Georgia’s defensive strength.
I don’t have the hate for Ohio State like any others on here do, but I hate them a little now simply because they didn’t knock out the idiot Georgia Bulldogs when they had a golden opportunity. Now, we all have to suffer because that piece of garbage program and fanbase are winning another national championship unless TCU can come up with a big upset.
Thanks a lot, Buckeyes.
Goodness, I hate Georgia.
SEC was the same way 3 teams and the rest sucked sewer water. Always is that way. Every conference has 1-3 teams that are better than the rest . Been that way since the dawn of time.Agreed. While it is nice to see the Big 10 exposed for what it is - three decent teams and a lot of dreck - it's incredible that Ohio State only needed to make one f***king play and they win that game, and instead rolled over and let the little arrogant weasel and that piece of garbage coach walk to another natty.
UGA was lucky or at best fortunate to win that one. (1) The timeout on the fake punt that OSU converted (game over) Kirby did call tO but they snapped the ball before official blew whistle. I've seen that both ways were the official doesnt see the TO and they dont replay & like they awarded UGA.
(2) The targeting to Harrison in the end zone and then they canceled it.
(3) The 4th down stop, on Bowers then they go to some kind of laser measurement to where they awarded him a 1st.
If any of these had not happened, they would not have made a comeback. also, on one long TD pass, OSU DB fell down but I consider that just part of the game lucky yes, but it happens.

Agree to disagreeLosing and telling a kid come here and you can play and make a difference does not work. Thats what people say when we lose a recruit and the one, we sign they say he could have gone to X-Y-or Z but he wanted to come here and make a difference. That sounds good but the truth is he was on X Y & Zs list, but their higher recruits signed, and he was a leftover. It works out sometimes he balls out but most of time it doesn't, that's why it's hard-to-get X Y & Z off their pedestal. Go watch high level AAU certain teams win all the time. Why? Because they built a winning Brand. How? By winning not by saying come here and you can make a difference. Just harsh reality.
