but didn't Crompton have the benefit of piloting the 1st team offense? there's lots of angles for people to work here on both sides. personally, my biggest issue is that Cut (who probably knows alot more about QBs than Fulmer and Kiffin put together) hand-picked BJ and our ill-fated former OC Clawson stated that the best thing the Vols could do in 09 was start BJ. Lots of questions.The defenses that he put up those numbers against consisted mostly of walk-ons who will never see meaningful snaps at UT.
