Anyone got a spare $150K?

Oh and I've been to some good parties that didn't cost 2 Mil.

Pretty hypocritical of BO to throw such a lavish party when many of the people voting for him can't pay their mortgages, utilities and are sick of being put down by the man.

He could have donated that money to people who need it.

Paid for by the salary he collected at the hands of the US Taxpayer...

You talking about his US Senate salary? What % of his net worth do you think came from his years as a Senator?

I'll throw out a guess:

Less than 1%.

What percentage of Palin's net worth comes from money collected by the federal IRS?

I'll throw out a guess:

0%

Fun game, though.

That is very comparable to Anointing a Campaign with Joe the Plummer that cannot even pay his back taxes.

Or exaggerating the fact of reality that he wouldn't even qualify for a loan to purchase a business of over 250,000.

However, I will give you this that he is probably more qualified to be VP than Palin.

he didn't get a haircut as a senator?

I think his senate salary was insignificant. The man is worth tens of millions of dollars. A couple hundred thousand is not what allowed him to get a $400 haircut.

btw, my wife spotted the former senator and his family shopping at Costco the other day here. That might tell us something about the current economic environment.
