Nice PG out of Houston. I would say she is a long shot for us though. Recruiting out of Texas can be done but it’s been much harder the last few seasons. They have so many schools playing good basketball in that state that it’s tough to pull them away from home. Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU and Rice have all been in the Top 25 or very close the last couple seasons. Texas Tech is starting to play a little better now that Stollings is there as well. I expect Vic with right the ship at Texas in short order also.

Are they even looking at Howard? I haven't seen that anywhere, but I could have missed it.

Unsure. As far as I know they are not. Another poster mentioned her a few days ago and inquired as to whether UT was recruiting her. Not much information available on her.

That said, the new coaching staff seems to be much more tight lipped when it comes to recruiting. I think we will be surprised much more often. Wynn was a bit of a surprise to me. She was mentioned a time or two but nobody outright knew she was headed our way ahead of time.

I think we're talking about Kyndall Hunter. Consensus Top 25 and one of best players in Houston area. If coaches are interested, maybe Kaiya could put in a good word when her family moves to Texas for her senior year.

There is a Kalynn Howard from Covington, TN who was also being discussed. Video looks good if against good competition. Howard certainly seems to know what to do with the ball.

She’s more athletic than Kelly was and a whole lock quicker than that highlight show. I’ve seen her go through the entire 5 on the floor. She’s confident and rarely get sped up. And her shot is automatic at all levels. The kid can flat out play.

She’s a hooper bro. I graduated from the same school. And I’ve seen her do it game after game without being rattled. No one is recruiting her and she loves Tennessee. If only one of the coaches would pay any attention to the videos I put on their twitter pages lol

Mo Wiggins is cutting her list to 6 next Thursday. I read an article that said she was cutting her list to 6 in June, but she wasn’t going to announce her commitment until early signing period 6E17B353-E179-40BE-A2D0-C8C0CC4BF27C.jpeg

She is a 2021 and don't know how we would get to her unless one of the other offered point guards doesn't commit to us. Howard has scored 1430 points in three seasons, 33 percent from the three, and 75 from the line. Great player but no scholarship available unless all the present targets go elsewhere.

That would be something that would be a possibility if she was academically eligible to do so. I'm not expecting it and starting to believe our 2020 team roster is what we already see not expecting any additions still hoping though for that point guard that could be a big difference maker to help Horston.

She loves Tennessee I’ve sent a dm to few people that may know how to get her in the door but didn’t get a response. As well as other schools I know she would love to play for Tennessee but I just want to see her D1 period because she has the talent. Also posted on Jennifer’s page a couple of times. Gone check back to see if anyone has contacted her in a few weeks

I’m sure she’s a fine ball player, but we are recruiting against SEC & ACC schools, not ones that do not have a D1 offer. Not trying to be rude, just realistic.

Jada Harrison from Martin IS the real deal but to put her in the same league as the other is a misrepresentation of Harrison ability/potential... not a diss on the other player as she appears to be a great HS player but it’s such a huge jump to D1 let alone Power5

They played each other this year a few times. Kalynn held her own.
