36 were listed as running at the end of the race on nascar.com
i had a few to many beers to remember or care how many cars finished

I love it when doozer bashes everything he doesnt like... no one cares that you dont like nationwide, go waste posts in other forums

bringing the safety car out usually helps.

the race at Mid-Ohio was rather uneventful.

Well the confrontation between Danica and Milka Duno was a bit entertaining. I noticed Danica didn't move over when she was holding up about six cars late in the race.

notice that they also didn't point it out. that was certainly and interesting exchange. i didn't think it was as big of a deal as Danica did. hilarious almost.

I believe both d4ster & Tenn07 are a bit correct, although 30 some cars were running, only the top 23 were within 25 laps of the leader with many well under 100 laps completed. I'm surprised to see Brad Teague actually running at the finish. He is normally one who justs starts, runs a few laps and parks to get min. purse.

That type of situation occurs every weekend in practice to some degree, specially on road courses. Only because it was the two women and Danica making a big deal of it was it even on tape. And it was only on tape if Danica told someone what she was going to do.

It's always great to see the guys get back out there after they initially park after the first 5 laps. 3 or 4 cars will get back out and try to pick a few more spots up while others are parking.

Also, about Teague, I'm not sure about this race but I know that Jr sponsored his car a couple races back(New Hampshire maybe). The Whiskey River car

you think this was premeditated by danica? like she found a camera crew and went over there?

danica needs to learn to shut her mouth sometimes and they need to get milka off the track before she kills somebody.

Well if she wanted to talk to Milka about her driving, she should have done it more discreetly. Unless they assign a camera crew just to Danica, which I highly doubt, how else did one just happen to be there?

i don't know. i honestly don't think it's outside the realm of possibilities that there might be some extra attention paid to her by the cameras. that's pretty crappy of her if she pulled a stunt like that. it's pretty obvious that Milka is slow, but there's no need to point it out to her in front of her team.

There is no doubt she gets extra attention, she keeps the IRL on the map. But to have a camera on her continuously is doubtful, specially just on practice day. She might have told her crew she was going to talk to Milka, and word got out to a cameraman. If it were two men, no one would have had a second thought.

no disagreement here.

Milka called her a diva. :birgits_giggle:

Danica needs to shut up. She makes a big deal of it when Briscoe wrecks her at Indy or Duno races too aggressive at Mid-Ohio. Yet, nothing's said when she nearly kills a man on pit road or any of the other incidents she's in. Everytime something happens that isn't her fault she makes some big drama out of it. She's one 1 race(fuel mileage) in what, 4 years? She's now in good equipment and still can't accomplish crap. She's not a backmarker by any means, but it's really unfortunate that the media hypes her up as the dominant driver in Indy car. She has a terrible temper and outside of 2 fuel mileage races(Japan & Indy 05') she's done nothing to amount to the hype she receives. Thank God this trainwreck didn't decide the Nascar path

that guy stepped out in front of her car. really nothing she could do.

and she's sixth in points ahead of two of her teammates.

and there's drivers in NASCAR with bad tempers, including your boy Harvick and Kurt Busch, yet you cheer for him? how is this different?

Duno is rolling road block. she's not the first person to get held up by her.

You made my point-she's 6th in points. She's no TK, Dixon, Castroneves, etc. Why all the hype? You hear nothing of Dan Wheldon or Kanaan during highlights on SC.

Once the Harvick/Coy Gibbs situation took place Harvick calmed down. He hasn't done much since the suspension. Still, I can't think of a single driver that's pissed after EVERY accident they're in. It's not like Danica is Mrs. Car Control Queen out there.

Duno is slow, but based on the video I saw Danica could have waited another corner. It's not like she was stuck behind Milka for 5 laps and lost 15 seconds to the leader. Even if she did, IT'S PRACTICE!!! She needs to chill a bit
