Forecast the Facts | Global Warming | Climate Change | The Daily Caller

Concerned that too many “deniers” are in the meteorology business, global warming activists this month launched a campaign to recruit local weathermen to hop aboard the alarmism bandwagon and expose those who are not fully convinced that the world is facing man-made doom.

The Forecast the Facts campaign — led by 350.org, the League of Conservation Voters and the Citizen Engagement Lab — is pushing for more of a focus on global warming in weather forecasts, and is highlighting the many meteorologists who do not share their beliefs.
-------------------------

According to the Washington Post, the reason for the campaign can be found in a 2010 George Mason University surveys, which found that 63% of television weathermen think that global warming is a product of natural causes, while 31% believe it is from human activity.

Good afternoon. David's friend and chief meteorologist of the Power of 5 weather network at WEWS Cleveland, Mark Johnson, has recently been drawing fire for his claims, “Earth hasn’t warmed in 15 years” story on newsnet5.com (United Kingdom Meteorology Office declares Earth hasn't warmed in 15 years). The group, “thinkprogress.org”, began the criticism. The group “Forecast the Facts” on Facebook, (Forecast the Facts | Facebook) also joined in the crusade.

Just when things were just staying on one meteorologist, they decided to go after another Cleveland meteorologist, WJW FOX 8 weather, Andre Bernier. Andre’s story related to the same topic titled, “Serious global…COOLING?” (Serious Global…. COOLING? |).

On ABC “World News Tonight” a few days ago, Sam Champion, the moonbat homosexual weatherman from “Good Morning America,” announced that the harsh winter in Serbia was due to “man made global warming.” :loco:

Other questions;

Is global warming causing a harsh winter in Serbia?
Seems like an utterly absurd assertion to me.

Should all the TV weathermen who don't believe in and preach the gospel of global warming be purged from the airwaves?
Seems like something one would have found in nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia to me.

Did anyone see the movie yet?

Global Warming Quote of the Day:

“…we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy…One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore…” IPCC co-chair of Working Group 3, Dr. Ottmar Endenhofer, November 13, 2010 interview [H/t Dr. Charles Battig]

Never saw An Inconvenient Truth, won't watch this one either.

I didn't either, but my 8 year old daughter was made to watch it in the 3rd grade. I had no clue until she came home and told me about it.

That is just sooo wrong on sooo many levels!

You should take her to see this one.

Well having been exposed to propaganda lies at the local indoctrination center, at some point I would think she deserves to be told the truth. JMHO.

Mark Landsbaum: Electric cars for an ice age | warming, government, carbon - Opinion - The Orange County Register

Call it global warming schizophrenia. It's the disconnect between what really is happening and what global warming alarmists demand must happen.

For example, many government officials and government-paid scientists insist the world risks being incinerated because humans generate a little more carbon dioxide than they used to. But they completely ignore the reality that CO2 hasn't proved to be a threat, let alone the horrific danger they make it out to be.

Why must they pretend this fiction to be true?
------------------------------

Absent from CARB's calculus is the inconvenient fact that 16 noteworthy scientists published a letter this week in the Wall Street Journal pointing out that "carbon dioxide is not a pollutant" and that the natural, trace gas actually benefits the planet, which is what they used to teach in schools in the pre-Al Gore era.

you mean you, right? When you try to soften the blow by personifying yourself as one of many in a group, you are really just deflecting from yourself.

Well you see it's like this killer, stinky dinky can call me any name he likes with impunity, from dolt to douchenugget, and that's just the Ds but if I even respond with anything about him (and anyone with a third grade reading comprehension level could understand I didn't even call him any name at all, I just toyed with his intellectual comprehension or lack thereof), then milo will slam me with a temp ban, so I am merely asking him to clarify his statement to a dolt such as me (and anyone else he might wish to put in the same category.)

BTW, what is it specifically that you don't unserstand about doltism?

Anyway back to the thread topic;

"An Inconsistent Truth" is opening today at the Thoroughbred theater in Cool Springs and Phil Valentine will be there to meet those attending the 7:30 filming.

Just thought I'd pass that along for those who may be interested as well for those who would just like to just be thie wise acre selves. :hi:

I watched Bowling for Columbine in one of my classes. I believe it was my copy that was used, too, since the teacher couldn't seem to find one at the time.
