Anyone play guitar?

I'm looking to buy a high-ish end acoustic/electric soon.. anybody have suggestions? I came close to pulling the trigger on a taylor 324ce the other day. I really like the modern gibson hummingbird and a few Martins too though, so I held off

I'm a big fan of Taylors. My 614 is going strong, 20 years. I bought my son the GS Mini, and it's a great travel guitar. The sound is unbelievable for its size.

T5s are super-cool, but you're not going to get the acoustic sound and resonance of a full-bodied guitar. Also, they aren't meant to be played without plugging in.

Yeah, I think t5s are really cool, but I dont think it's what I'm looking for.. I'm leaning more towards a j45 or hummingbird after doing more research yesterday

I don't want to sound like a vulture waiting to benefit from the misfortune of others, but I have a feeling that if the economy does not heat up quickly there will soon be a glut of high end player instruments on the second hand market which will drive down prices. Might be worth it to wait a few months.

It's already happening. I'm trying to add to my Teisco collection and there's a friend of a friend in Knoxville willing to part with his for well under market.
