Kentucky and Georgia will definitely be ranked when we play them while South Carolina plays Missouri, Vanderbilt, and Florida before they face us. They are favored in those except for Florida at the swamp which is a slight favorite according to teamrankings.com.

If we win the games we are supposed to that gives us either 5 or 6 ranked opponent wins depending on what happens with SCAR. Pull off Georgia and that’s 6 or 7… seems kind of crazy.

Bama in 2016 beat 7 in the regular season, number 8 in the SEC Championship and number 9 in the playoff before finally losing to their 10th top 25 team in the national championship.

Clemson buddy of mine says they're intolerable...but, good for them...as long as it's not against the Vols. I kinda like their coach. Personally, I'd like SC, NC and Clemson to tank it for a few years so we can get back to getting those high caliber Carolina Boys on the good side of the Appalachian Mtns.

SEC fans gotta admit that USCe is exceeding expectations with their coach. They were a hot mess when he took over. I believe he, like Heupel, is A players coach, and he has built a team, although not overly talented, that wins every game they should.

Good point, but I think Michigan is better overall than Clemson based on what we have seen so far. The wild thing about college ball is teams get better or worse. Some can look good one week and bad the other. The teams that can stay the most consistent are the ones most likely to survive. It’s a exciting year, the Bama folks and some in the sports media world are all bent out of shape because poor Bama lost. All I can say is GBO! Time to maul the cats!!!! The Houndogs are going to come hungry Saturday Night!!!! Get the Win! One game at a time!!!! Rock the Top!!!!!

I get where everyone is coming from. But think about where this program has been the past decade plus. For Coach JH to have this team where it is. I don't give a flying pan of grease whether we are 1 2 or 3. At least we aren't 3-4 praying for 3 more wins to go to a crummy bowl and begging that we get a new coach soon. Only thing I am interested in is when we get the next big recruit. Yes I want to win the next game more than i want a Bama fan to find forever happiness with their moms sisters daughter. And I want to go undefeated. But stop and just think we are finally out of the dark dismal abyss that was everything post Fulmer. Did you see the crowd yesterday for UT Martin? I had to sit in the last row just to see the game in person. When is the last time we had a sale out on Homecoming against a lower tier school? Its Great to be a Tennessee Vol has never been more truer than today and the future of this program.
