If you look at his tweets, he is doing it on purpose. He tells people if they want to discuss his poll, they have to join his chat site.Yep. Mike Berandino who writes in South Bend has consistently voted UT lower than their average. Currently he is UT's low vote in the AP poll at #6. He has Bama STILL ranked 3rd.
And yet oddly enough they rank us higher than the coaches, which is interesting.
The coaches aren't the ones voting though- it's the SIDs at each school. That's an important lesson to keep in mind.I have always wondered about the coaches' poll. While I agree that coaches are more qualified than writers to rank teams, I often wonder how many other teams the voting coaches have even seen play. If a team isn't on the schedule, they aren't watching much film on them.
Iowa would need to knock off Ohio State. Not happening, but if they did we would both move up.I'm not 100% on how the rankings work but, want to ask your opinions. Georgia has a bye week this week and we are playing UTM. If we win this weekend we will have same record as GA both at 7-0.
What are the odds that we move higher in the rankings due to both being 7-0 and our previous wins over ranked teams vs GA's wins over unranked teams?
Possible for a team to drop in ranks on a bye week?
